Regarding the Term "Police": Security Police operates as a private agency providing civil policing services and does not claim to be part of the South African Police Service (SAPS) or any other governmental law enforcement agency.

Our use of the term "Police" reflects our commitment to upholding order, investigating civil transgressions within our defined scope, and acting as a proactive force for resolution where the existing systems may face limitations. It is important to note that the use of the term "police" in contexts other than the official SAPS is not illegal or disallowed under South African law. To this end, we have opted to operate as a policing agency, rather than a security firm, as security companies are subject to numerous restrictive regulations under PSIRA.

Despite the name "Security Police," we do not provide traditional security services. Our authority is derived from contractual agreements with our clients and operates within the bounds of South African law for private entities. We work in collaboration with, and as a supplement to, the SAPS where appropriate and necessary, particularly in cases that escalate to criminal matters.

The very preamble to the word and concept of Justice reveals a system that is, in many ways, crippled. Often perceived as an unseeing idol – the blindfolded figure with tipping scales and a sword – the conventional image of Justice stands in stark contrast to the fairness it purports to represent. For us at Security Police, serving justness means striving for a God-ordained fairness, a true righteousness that transcends the often-flawed worldly interpretations. The term "Justice" itself is not a direct biblical term; the scriptures speak more directly of being "just" in the sense of "righteous" and "in fitness."
